Corrections
If something on this site is wrong, write to corrections@famo.us. Tell us the page, the claim or dataset row, and what you saw, including your browser, version and operating system if it is a behaviour.
What we do
- Check the evidence. For an article we identify the claim and the source or test page behind it. For a dataset we identify the row, package version, configuration and field.
- Retest when behaviour is involved. A change to code or to a behavioural claim gets a fresh observation with its browser, operating system, date and steps. A typo fix does not imply a retest.
- Correct in public. The page gets a dated correction note saying what was wrong and what changed. Superseded results are kept on record, not silently replaced.
- Qualify while we check. If an error affects a conclusion, we qualify or withdraw that conclusion until it is resolved. If the evidence cannot settle it, the status becomes “not tested” with the limitation stated.
We do not publish private details from correction reports.
